Our review

Clinique Alpa is a private GP practice in Palmers Green run by Clinique Alpa Ltd, with named GMC-registered doctors including Principal GP Dr Mitesh Parmar. The practice states on its own site that it is CQC-registered, though the registration could not be independently confirmed via the CQC website during this check. As of 2 August 2026, Clinique Alpa is operating a virtual-only "sabbatical" service — consultations by video or phone only — with in-person appointments at its Green Lanes address not due to resume until 24 August 2026. Weight-management consultation fees are published (£50 initial, £80 review), but the clinic states it does not advertise or recommend specific medicines online, so no GLP-1 drug name or price could be confirmed from public sources. No Trustpilot or Google rating was found. Best for patients happy to start with a virtual GP consultation and wait for in-person appointments to resume later in August.

CQC registration
Self-reported on-site as 'registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)' (Safeguarding page); the clinic's own site text cites CQC Provider ID 1-9691685023 and Location ID 1-15543055684, but these could not be independently confirmed — cqc.org.uk's location/provider/search pages returned HTTP 403 on every automated lookup attempt during this check (the CQC homepage itself was reachable).

How it works

Booked appointments only, no walk-ins. GP-led service with named, GMC-registered clinicians (Dr Mitesh Parmar, GMC 6113670, Principal GP & Clinical Director; Dr Alpa J. Morawala, GMC 7057567; Dr Amit J. Morawala, GMC 7063643; plus a specialty plastic surgeon, Mr Kamal El-Ali, FRCS(Plast)). As of the 2 August 2026 check date, the site states it is 'currently operating as a virtual-first private GP consultation service during our sabbatical period' — appointments are by secure video or telephone only — with in-person face-to-face appointments at 466 Green Lanes 'expected to resume from 24 August 2026.' The clinic explicitly states it does 'not advertise or recommend specific medicines online'; any prescription-only weight-loss medication would only be discussed and priced within a booked consultation.

Things to know

  • As of the 2 August 2026 check date, the clinic is NOT operating in person — its own site states it is in a virtual-only 'sabbatical,' with face-to-face appointments at 466 Green Lanes due to resume only on 24 August 2026.
  • No specific GLP-1 medication (Wegovy, Mounjaro, Saxenda, etc.) is named or priced anywhere on the public site; the clinic states it does not advertise specific medicines online, so it cannot be confirmed from public sources alone that GLP-1 prescribing is actually offered.
  • CQC registration could not be independently verified via cqc.org.uk (search and location pages blocked automated access with HTTP 403); only the provider's own on-site claim of CQC registration is available.
