Our review

The Blackwell Clinic is a private GP group running a Slimming Clinic across its Bromley sites (Norman Park and Sundridge Park, plus a Blackheath location listed on its own site). GMC-registered GPs with a special interest in slimming, alongside a nurse prescriber, see patients by booked appointment — virtual or in-person, 30-45 minutes for an initial consultation — and require liver and kidney function blood tests before starting Wegovy or Mounjaro. The clinic holds CQC registration (location ID 1-18296561459, registered December 2023) covering slimming clinic services, though it hasn't yet been inspected, so carries no rating. No GBP prices are published online for either medication; the pricing page shows only a 'Slimming' category heading, with costs given by phone, WhatsApp or email. Google Maps shows a 4.9-star rating for the Norman Park site, though the review count wasn't visible. No Trustpilot page or regulatory red flags were found. Best for patients wanting GP-led prescribing with proper bloodwork who don't mind ringing ahead for prices.

How it works

Slimming Clinic run within a multi-site private GP practice. GMC-registered GPs with a special interest in slimming (e.g. Dr Buchi Nzekwue, Dr Ama Sogbodjor) and a nurse prescriber (Mrs Selma Cornelio RN) see patients by booked appointment only (30-45 min initial consultation, or a 15-min Q&A), virtual or in-person. Liver and kidney function blood tests are mandatory before medication starts (cholesterol/HbA1c also offered); injections can be self-administered or given by clinic staff, with monthly weigh-in/check-in appointments.
