Terms of Use

The Tiro app and this website (the “Service”) are provided by Lightzone Solutions LTD (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales. These Terms of Use are a legal agreement between you and Lightzone Solutions LTD.

By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tiro. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.

Tiro is free to download, and its tracking features are free. Tiro Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly, that unlocks additional features such as AI food recognition without the free daily limit (fair-use limits apply). The price, billing period and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy. Tiro has no ads.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. If your plan includes a free trial, you won't be charged if you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app or your Tiro account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Tiro for your own personal, non-commercial health tracking, subject to these terms.

You can use Tiro without an account. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You can delete your account and data at any time from within the app or via our account deletion page.

Don't misuse the Service: no reverse engineering, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access, and no use that violates the law or the rights of others.

Tiro, its design, and its content are owned by us and protected by law. Your tracking data remains yours; these terms don't transfer ownership of your data to us.

The Service relies on third-party providers (such as our cloud backend and food-recognition provider) to function, as described in our Privacy Policy. Their terms and privacy practices govern their part of the Service.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that estimates, projections, or reminders will be accurate or uninterrupted.

Tiro is a tracking companion, not a medical device, and nothing in the Service is medical advice. Estimated medication levels, titration planners, and projections are educational estimates based on public labels and clinical-trial averages. Always follow the dosing and schedule instructions from your prescriber, and never change your medication based on the app. See our full medical disclaimer.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for any health decisions you make. Your use of Tiro is at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms.

You can stop using Tiro and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales will have jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to the protections of mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence.

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
