Tiro helps you stay organized on your GLP-1 journey. It is not your doctor. Please read how to use its estimates responsibly.

1. For general wellness only — not medical advice

Tiro is a tracking and education tool for people already prescribed a GLP-1 medication. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and nothing in the app or on this site is medical advice. Always rely on your prescriber and pharmacist for decisions about your medication.

2. Estimates can be inaccurate

Tiro's dose calculators, titration planners, weight-loss projections, and estimated medication levels are educational estimates based on published drug labels and clinical-trial averages. Real results vary widely from person to person. Never use a Tiro estimate to change your dose, skip a step, or take a missed dose outside the guidance of your prescriber.

3. Follow your prescriber and the official label

Titration schedules, missed-dose rules, and injection guidance in Tiro summarize the FDA labels and standard practice, but your prescriber may give you different instructions for good reasons. If there's ever a conflict between Tiro and your prescriber, follow your prescriber.

4. Consult a professional

Talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or a registered dietitian before making changes to your medication, diet, or exercise — especially if you have other health conditions or take other medications. Seek urgent care for severe or unusual symptoms.

5. Eating disorders — please reach out

Weight and body tracking isn't right for everyone. If tracking is fueling anxiety or disordered eating, please pause and talk to a professional. In the US you can reach the NEDA Helpline; elsewhere, contact a local eating-disorder support service.

6. No liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiro is not liable for health decisions you make using the app. Your use of Tiro's estimates and content is at your own risk. See our Terms of Use for the full limitation of liability.
