Our review
Kamsons Pharmacy's Bow branch, part of the Kamsons group (Waremoss Ltd, Companies House 01434575), runs a face-to-face 'Medicated Weight Loss Service' for patients with a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 with a weight-related condition. An online consultation is reviewed by a named independent prescriber — service lead Ravi Vaitha (GPhC 2065593) or William Lloyd (GPhC 2047148) — and approved patients collect their prescription in person, with monthly follow-ups and GP notification. The branch displays GPhC number 1040025, though this couldn't be checked against the regulator's own register, which blocked automated access. Mounjaro and Wegovy injections are offered, plus an oral Wegovy tablet 'expected soon', but pricing is shown only as an unreadable image, so no figures are available; no Trustpilot or Google rating could be found either. Best for patients who want a named prescriber and in-person guidance, and don't mind asking the branch directly for prices.

How it works
Patient completes an online consultation form; a pharmacist/independent prescriber reviews it for suitability; if approved, a prescription is sent to the chosen branch for collection; the patient then attends an in-person consultation at the branch for guidance on use, with monthly follow-up consultations included and the GP notified. Eligibility: BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related health condition.
Medications & prices
| Medication | Doses & prices as listed | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Mounjaro (tirzepatide) | Page states the monthly cost 'is dependant on the strength of your dose' and bundles consultations plus pens/needles/sharps bin; pricing is shown only as an image ('Mounjaro-wegovy-prices') that could not be extracted as text via WebFetch, so no numeric figure is available. | checked 1–2 August 2026 |
| Wegovy (semaglutide) | Same as above — dose-dependent monthly price shown only in an unreadable image; no numeric figure available. | checked 1–2 August 2026 |
| Oral semaglutide (Wegovy pill / Rybelsus) | Described on the page as a newly approved oral form 'with availability expected soon'; no price given. | checked 1–2 August 2026 |
Consultation & fees: Not separately published as a text figure; the site states the monthly service cost 'includes the cost of your consultations plus your Mounjaro/Wegovy pens, needles and sharps bins for that month' — bundled and dose-dependent, shown only in an image.
Delivery: General 'Free Prescription Delivery' is advertised pharmacy-wide; the weight-loss service itself appears to be collection-only (prescription sent to branch, medication collected in person).
